Iranian “navy drone” crashes in southern port city – media sources

Iranian media sources say that a “military drone” has crashed in the country’s southern port city of Jask on the shore of Oman Sea.

Local news agencies have suggested that the “reconnaissance drone” belonged to the Iranian army’s navy and it “crashed into a street lighting pole” in the early hours of Sunday.

According to the reports, the crashed drone has damaged the building of the provincial Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation in the center of Jask.

An eyewitness has told a local news agency that the army personnel arrived on the scene to collect and transfer the wreckage of the drone. There has so far been no comment from officials.
